Richly colored, Alapaca-blend, plaid throw blanket designed by Shupaca Alpaca and crafted by a variety of artisan groups within the indigenous communities of the Andes Mountain region of South America. Shupaca Alpaca is committed to supporting the social and economic advancement of the artisans & their families in these small communities through fair wages and direct incentives. Alpacas are sheared only once a year and contain no lanolin. Each blanket is made with 60% alpaca wool and 40% recycled acrylic fibers making it an ecofriendly and hypoallergenic option.
