ABOUT THE DESIGN:
All of the prints on the Goldie Home pillows are creator, Sara Roberts' original art. The Marble Collection comes from an ice-dye process. The fabric is primed to absorb natural dyes and then ice is organically placed on top of the fabric. Next, natural dyes, in a powder form, are gently placed on top of the ice. Overnight, the powder dye seeps through the ice penetrating the fabric, leaving a watercolor, organic effect. When the colors are washed out, the end result is a myriad of colors forming an intricate pattern. These designs are then printed onto a linen/cotton blend fabric in Portugal and constructed into pillows.
