Set of five mid-century lowball glasses by Georges Briard, featuring his iconic Roman Coin design. Each glass is decorated with a raised gold medallion profile of Marcus Antoninus, framed by a vertical ribbed texture and detailed 22-karat gold bands at the rim and base.
This pattern was one of Briard’s classic luxury barware lines from the 1960s, sold through department stores such as Neiman Marcus and Bloomingdale’s. The combination of ribbed glass, ancient-coin motif, and rich gold detailing gives these a sophisticated, collectible appeal.
